Our club sponsors the Circle K International Chapter of The University of Texas at AustinCircle K International, or CKI, is the largest collegiate service organization in of its kind in the world, and the UT CKI is one of its finest chapters. From reading to children to helping at nursing homes, UT CKI is constantly involved in community service. The chapter also promotes fellowship by holding a variety of socials, and interacts with the K-Family at-large through interclubs and joint service project and socials with Kiwanis clubs, other CKI chapters, and Key Clubs. UT CKI's big event, its annual Chili Cook-off, brings members of the K-Family together for food and fellowship, all while raising money for the Children's Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas, a local affiliate of the Children's Miracle Network.

As sponsors, the University Area Kiwanis supports the UT CKI chapter and its members in a number of ways, including: partial funding for CKI members' registration fees for Fall Retreat, District Convention, and International Convention; full funding for CKI officers' registration fees to Weekend Officer Workshop; training for new CKI officers; free lunch for CKI members who attend our meetings; club representation at all CKI meetings; and much more. As a result, University Area Kiwanis and its members who serve as advisors to the CKI chapter have received numerous awards at the annual Texas-Oklahoma District CKI Convention.
